Writing: Borderline Useful

Dining Duo: In August of 2004, Stac and I began writing a restaurant review for www.thedetroiter.com, a cool local arts/entertainment 'zine put together by out good pal Nick Sousanis. The site doesn't allow deep linking, so you'll have to surf; look for "Dining Duo" under the "Features" section. Note that this is a different "detroiter" magazine than the Detroit Chamber of Commerce's detroiter, in which I've also been published.

So You Wanna Get an MBA? My (hopefully unique, or at least seldom-articulated) ruminations on the true value of an MBA, written primarily for prospective MBA seekers.

MS Font Chart: One day, not too long ago, I found myself wishing I had a printout of all the fonts on my computer. After the standard contemptibly futile search of MS Word help in a fruitless effort to figure out how to produce this, I did a google search and found a VB script at http://www.ualberta.ca/HELP/word/wordFAQ_7.html that did it for me. With some minor tweaking I got the output contained here, which, since it's html, probably won't be of much value if you don't have the fonts installed, but Acrobat kept crashing when I tried to convert it to .pdf, so pity me and send money. Anyway, I figured since I could not find such a file on the web, maybe one day the search engine gods will smile upon me and my down-beaten window-using compatriots and index this page, and my toil will serve to lessen the Windows-induced exasperation experienced by some (or several) other unfortunate users.
