In June, Stac and I packed up the then new Liberty and drove to Texas via
Arkansas, where we stopped for some four wheelin', hikin', and campin' in the
Ouachita Mountains. We then hit Austin and made stops at Enchanted Rock state
park and Kreuz barbeque in Lockhart (45 minutes south of Austin), the Best
Barbeque in the Universe.

The no-longer new jeep, parked near where we went for a "quick
hike" on an unknown trail without a compass or water. Three hours
later (did I mention it poured rain until about 5 minutes before this pic
was taken?) we emerged. |
